Isle of Skye Landscape Photography - Full Itinerary

Day One

Arriving by midday at Glasgow Airport, you will be greeted by your host and photography guide, Chris Ceaser.

Frome here the team will begin the journey north, heading towards Glencoe and Rannoch Moor, an area of historic significance and outstanding natural beauty. Here you will enjoy your first photography session with Chris as he gets to know you and your level of skill with your camera.

The first night will be spent close to Glencoe/Rannoch Moor and the team can enjoy a relaxing dinner together.

Day Two

An early rise and pre-breakfast photography session.

After breakfast the team will depart and continue the journey to the Isle of Skye, arriving in plenty of time to check in at the Eilean Iarmain Hotel, and relax before heading out for an afternoon photography session.

Days Three/Four/Five/Six

The team will explore the Isle of Skye, with Chris – sunrise and sunset photography sessions with opportunity for in-field photography sessions in between. Seascapes, mountains, lochs, ruggedly romantic highland vistas all waiting for you to express your own evocative chronicle of their outstanding natural beauty.

Breakfast will normally occur after the morning photography session

Lunch and dinner venues will be chosen on a daily basis, Chris has a plethora of local knowledge and will be happy to give recommendations whereby you can sample the best that the area has to offer. The accommodation on  Skye, the Eilean Iarman Hotel, has been selected for it’s quint yet elegant style, it’s ideal location and also the sumptuous quality of fresh, locally sourced menus.

Built in to the itinerary we have planned two activities for the team.

  • A boat cruise on Loch Coruisk, which will give you the opportunity to explore an island on the loch and potentially photograph the colony of seals which reside there.
  • The Talisker Whisky Distillery – This tour will give you an insight in to how they create this fabulous, local whisky as well as giving you opportunity to sample a few of their specialities.

Day Seven

After breakfast the team will depart, making the journey back towards Glasgow Airport – we recommend that you schedule your departing flights from late afternoon onwards to give as much time as possible for the team to catch their flights and make their way to their respective destinations – whether it’s heading home or continuing to explore the United Kingdom… why not take this opportunity to explore the sights, sounds and diversity that London has to offer!
